Cadavre exquis (exquisite corpse) is a game (!) created by the Surrealists in the 1920s. It is a group exercise where a poem or a piece of art is worked on by many individuals. Each person adds their own section - and might do so without knowing what has already been laid down by other collaborators. The results can be bizarre and fantastical!
